Cattle Report – 20th February 2017

16 Prime cattle, 3 Breeding cows and 22 OTM cattle were sold on Monday, when prime cattle sold to 225p/kg for a 540kg Limousin heifer, from Moar, Withaquoy, Holm, which realised £1215 to E Flett Butcher Ltd, Stromness.

Prime steers sold to 209p/kg for a 595kg Saler, from Ross, Lenahowe, Sandwick, which realised £1243.55, also to E Flett Butcher Ltd, Stromness

OTM Cattle sold to 170.5p/kg for a 645kg Angus heifer, from Muir, Hooking, North Ronaldsay, which realised £1100
