Cattle Report 30th May

13 Prime cattle, 10 Store cattle and 9 OTM’s were sold on Monday, when Prime cattle sold to 210p/kg for a 615kg Limousin heifer, from Glen Orkney Farms, St Ola, which realised £1291.50.

Prime steers sold 185p for a 645kg Charolais, from Spence, Muckle Pow, Evie, which realised £1193.25.

Store steers sold to 188p/kg for a 560kg Limousin, from Work Farm, St Ola, which realised £1055

Store heifers sold to 195p/kg for a 410kg Limousin, also from Work Farm, St Ola, which realised £800

OTM cattle sold to 144p/kg for a 565kg Simmental cow, from Omand, Wardhill, South Ronaldsay, which realised £815.
