Cattle Report 7th June 14

10 Prime cattle, 7 Store cattle and 21 OTM’s were sold on Monday, when Prime cattle sold to 209p/kg for a 565kg Limousin heifer, from Glen Orkney Farms, St Ola, which realised £1180.85 purchased by E Flett Butchers Stromness

Prime steers sold to 200p/kg for a 585kg Charolais, from Low, Cruhill, Toab, which realised £1170.

A Charolais Store heifer, from Leslie, Lopness, Sanday, scaled 560kg and realised £1030 (183.9p)

A pen of young bulls, from Mawson, Roadside, North Ronaldsay, sold to 173.6p for 3 Shetland x’s which scaled 386kg and realised £670.

OTM Cattle sold to 135.6p/kg for a 885kg Simmental cow, from Vestrafiold Farms, Quoyloo, which realised £1200
