Cattle Report 22nd April 13

9 Prime cattle (All heifers), 11 Store cattle and 17 OTM’s were sold on Monday, when Prime cattle sold to 238p/kg for a 565kg Charolais heifer, from Sinclair, Unigarth, Sandwick, which realised £1344.70 and was purchased by Williamsons East Road Kirkwall

Charolais (565kg) Taylor, Hall of Herston, South Ronaldsay (237p) £1339.05
South Devon (535kg) Corrigall, Northbigging, Dounby (218p) £1166.30

Store steers sold to 233.9p/kg for a 560kg Charolais, from Hourston, Cott, Papa Westray, which realised £1310.

Store heifers sold to 220.3p/kg for a 590kg Charolais, from Hourston, Cott, Papa Westray, which realised £1300.

OTM Cattle sold to 194.4p/kg for a 715kg Limousin cow, from Kent, Easthouse, Shapinsay, which realised £1390.
